Welcome back to another week of food news from, Eatosi. We’ve gone from adding things to food, to stealing, to sharing it. Goldilocks gets a mention and more terrible puns to add laughter to your day. Enjoy!
1) Get ready for a frosty reception
This is one straight from my Nonno’s guide to wine making; how much anti-freeze is actually in our food? The results will shock you, less so my dear old Nonno. (I hope he never learns how to use the internet!)
2) Hitting the wrong notes
What happens when a classical orchestra eats the world’s hottest chilli? I assume they won’t be singing off the same hymn sheet… these puns are getting worse, I apologise profusely.
3) Man is attacked for stealing meatballs
Whilst the thought of stealing another man’s meatballs would be just cause to not go and actually do it, a 31 year old man in Fallston, Maryland actually did what most meatball loving, overprotective and mentally unstable people would do, attack the perpetrator. In what can only be thought of as some sort of Goodfella’s remake, these coworkers may not be on the best speaking terms after the event.
4) It’s all about the Oats
Nick and Camilla Barnard, founders of porridge company, Rude Health, have a story to tell. They set up in their kitchen, they’ve made a successful business (now turning over £6 million a year) and they’ve just entered a porridge competition. Goldilocks was unavailable for comment.
5) It’s good to share
You may have seen Youtube videos in the past about sharing food (well, possibly not the meatball attacker), but have you seen this? A homeless man’s generosity in giving away a slice of pizza is actually remarkable; it’s good to share people!
