The Guardian has reported on the demise of the spud. Fish and Chip vendors beware, there’s plenty of plaice for fish (sorry) but not for the accompanied side dish of a generation.

4) Chefs are getting younger and younger
This chef in particular has just beaten Heston Blumenthal for the best restaurant award in Berkshire. Luke Thomas, remember the name, is just 20.
